  What Were Your Favorite Old TV Shows (From the 50's to the 90's)???

  i watch the rifleman almost every night on encore westerns.. when i was a kid i used to love watching the 3 stooges.. my favorite 80's show was taxi and hill street blues.. which tv shows did you love watching?

  anyone remember "The Greatest American Hero"? you know that theme song... 'look at whats happened to me...i cant believe it myself, suddenly i'm up ontop of the world, shoulda been somebody else.....BELEIVE IT OR NOT! "etc etc etc... sorry, love that song that was AWESOME! i rented it recently... wow. we were so easily entertained then.

  What about "Alice" and "Night Court"... heck my mom even loved "Pinky and the Brain".. what a GREAT theme song too!

  Dont forget "falcon crest" and "Dallas" and who shot JR? that formed a whole generation!

  Next step- I said goodbye to my best friend- and she was terrified of me!

  so the next step i realized after meeting with the elders monday night was to say some "goodbyes" while i'm still able to.

  now, the elders kept "wanting" me to "fade" .

  .. again, many people are telling me that they might be nice, but when they report back to the whole body, they could decide something else.

  what i'm realizing is that the brothers told people to start calling me again. since the brothers came monday i keep getting messages again... so this is a short time i'm going to have the "approval" i'm guessing. Hell, i had my daughters birthday party saturday, she's going to camp at a church- my husband wants to find me a girlfriend (hahaa) we've jumped off the deep end and it's not gonna last. May as well get out of the way a few great goodbyes and move along. I love you all, but i dont want to be in 'limbo' here for years and years... maybe just a year or so... i dont want them to have anymore of my life.

  We'll see... i say that now......

  I realize that i HATE that i'm DFing them... i dont know how much i want to keep trying to reach out and be rejected, i dont know if i can handle that, but It's an interesting approach, i really should try to talk to at least everyone i would want to talk to before... anything happens.

  Could you explain 1914?

  1914 doctrine was a major thing to me at the time i was a witness, i loved explaining it and saying we had the truth.

  but there were so many witnesses that couldn't explain it at the time and only had a basic concept as to how they came up with the date.

  i wonder how many here could explain and understand this when they were a dub?

  I am impressed by your thorough research! yes, i did post that! wow. that was in my angry stage.. i think i'm in the 'acceptance' stage somewhat... i realized what it is is that... i dont want my last feeling i get to feel with my friends to be anger, fear, hatred, spite.... i want my last feeling to be love before i never see them again. Or at least never see them again the same way.

  Anyone watch 'House"? I realized that idea was in the last episode of last season, shes dying, he says "why aren't you angry? " and she says "i dont want anger to be the last feeling i get to feel".... i thought that was quite profound... at least for TV.

  thank you all... i just had a beer and some cookies.. that should help all!!!!

  I tried to leave it as "open" but in reality, i KNOW if i'm having xmas, birthday etc... it means its over and we cant be friends period. I told her i was upset that after 20years of my life, people want me to know EXACTLY where i stand in ONE MONTH!! I told her i havn't made any decisions yet, there wasn't enough time... she triend to pull the "where would you go? who would offer hope in these horrible days for the children" routine...

  She just was working herself up for no reason.. it has to end, i just wanted it to be gently and humaine.

  I need more drink....
